How things work

 

 
 

first, the questionnaire.

Once we have determined that I am your person, I will send you a questionnaire requesting all kinds of information about your brand, passion, and services. I will also request that you create and share with me a secret Pinterest Board where we can collaborate on your visual inspiration.

second, the meeting.

After looking over your questionnaire and getting a peek at your secret Pinterest Board, we will schedule to meet in person (Face Time, Google Hangouts, or Skype are options) to go over:

  • How you would like your website's structure to look.
  • The questionnaire and making sure that we are both on the same page.
  • Your ideal client, mission statement and lay out your services/products.
  • Scheduling a Brand Photography session.

Third, the designing.

This is where I begin to work hard to create your website. You will set up a trial version of your new website within Squarespace, which you will give me administrative access to. I will create a special folder in Google Drive where you will share with me the written content that you would like to have included on each page.

We will meet (when may vary) to take photographs of you, your services, products, and any locations pertaining to your business. It will take up to 2 weeks to complete the first draft, depending on when I have all the images I need.

You are more than welcome to check in, see where I am at, and ask any questions during this time. I won't disappear. 

fourth, the wrap up.

Once I have put everything together, we will meet again in person (Face Time, Google Hangouts, or Skype are options) to discuss any changes you may want made to the website. This is where we will tidy things up and make sure that you are pleased with your website.

finally, the launch!

When you have given the "OK!" that you are completely satisfied with your website, you will then need to select which upgrade package you will want to use (the upgrade is not included in my pricing). You are free to set this up at any point during the process, just be sure to have a determination by your launch day! I will also be sharing with others your business and the launch of your website's new look to help with publicity. 

Through Face Time, Google Hangouts, or Skype I will give you a basic orientation of how to navigate around the backend of your website and how to make simple updates. This should take no longer than an hour to go over since Squarespace is pretty easy to navigate! You will also be able to ask me any questions or have me make minor adjustments for up to 3 months after the launch.
